A reminder: If you’re near Rapid City this weekend, you might want to stop out at Rapid City Regional Airport for a look the fully restored B-17 “Flying Fortress.” You can get access to the aircraft display at the Westjet Air Center.

The Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force will land its B-17 bomber, named “Sentimental Journey,” at the Rapid City airfield about noon on Friday, June 13. Over the weekend, you can get an up-close look – inside and out – at the vintage World War II bomber. A $5 donation for the tour is requested.

You can even take a 45-minute flight. The cost is $425 per person, and they need at least five people per flight.

For more information, call 602-448-9415 or check out the Arizona Wing website.
