Calling all beer, wine and food lovers! This weekend, Deadwood is hosting their 2nd annual Forks, Corks & Kegs event so come on down to experience fine dining, delicious brews and wine from all across the country. There will also be a celebrity chef that will be available to teach new techniques as well as help you recreate your favorite Deadwood dishes!

You can purchase individual tickets or a festival pass through Ticketmaster or call the Deadwood Mountain Grand box office at 605-559-1188. The festival pass includes Friday and Saturday events including Singing Chef Andy Lorusso, the Appetizer Crawl, Deadwood Dine Around and the Grand Tasting. You also will receive your choice of a commemorative beer or wine glass!

Thursday, April 9th- The Taste of Home Cooking Show will hold a two-hour program that will give attendees an exciting experience of learning new recipes and cooking demonstrations. For tickets, click here.

Friday, April 10th- The Singing Chef Andy LoRusso will host a cooking demonstration of items from his all-Italian menu while singing well-known songs and arias from his "That's Amore" album. Festival participants will also be given the chance to sample bite-sized appetizers created by local chefs, each paired with a wine or beer sample. Saturday, April 11th- The Deadwood Dine Around will give festival goers a chance to sit down at several different locations to sample their favorite meals which will be paired with wine, beer and cocktails. In the evening, the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center will host A Grand Tasting which will offer dozens of top brews, wines, and foods from participating locations all in one place! Other options that are not included in the festival pass are the Riedel "Veritas" Red Wine Tasting on April 9th, in the Deadwood Social Club and a free Coffee Tasting and Seminar on April 11th at the Deadwood Station Bunkhouse and Gambling Hall. Admission to the wine tasting includes a demonstration about stemware, as well as tastings of different wines, appetizers and a Riedel Veritas set. The cost is $60 and you will need to call 605-578-3346 to purchase tickets. The Coffee Tasting and Seminar is from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and you will learn from an expert different roasting techniques, bean varieties and how variations in each can change the flavor profile of your favorite morning drink.

After growing up in Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois and South Dakota, she graduated from Black Hills State University, packed up her car and headed to Florida to work in live television.
